Push Those Yearbook Sale Pre-Orders
December 4th, 2008
Pre-ordered yearbooks are the best way to know exactly how many you really need. However, since most students don`t pre-order their yearbook, you`ll probably end up guessing and could come up short. How to prevent this? Increase your pre-orders.
- Hand out reminders. A few weeks ahead of the order date, make sure you let students know that they can order now.
- Offer incentives. Giving a discount or adding an extra (like a multi-media yearbook cd) will help encourage those pre-orders.
- Let parents know. By telling parents, you`re going to the source. More parents care about yearbook sales than their children, because they have the experience of age, looking back at their high school selves.
- Make it easy. By offering payment online, you are making it super easy for parents to pre-order yearbooks and they will appreciate this and take advantage of it.
Pre-ordered yearbooks will give you a more accurate idea of how many to order, so encouraging them as much as possible is a good idea.
